How much does the course cost?
The course’s standard pricing is just $19.99.
Do I need specific podcasting software to complete the course?
Not at all! This course uses Buzzsprout, Canva, and Descript (some of which are affiliate partners of ours) to teach podcasting. All of these tools offer free options or trials if you want to test them out. However, you can complete the course using other software if you choose, with the understanding that our screenshots will not look exactly like what you see in your podcasting software.
Do I need specific recording equipment to complete the course?
No. Podcasting doesn’t have to involve expensive equipment or hours of planning preparation. We believe that becoming a podcaster is more easily achievable than some in the industry make it seem. As such, this course is designed to teach you how to podcast using whatever kind of equipment you want, even if you want to podcast from your phone or laptop!
Do I have to subscribe to Udemy to complete the course?
No. You will need to create a Udemy account to access the course, but you are not required to subscribe to a Udemy plan. You can purchase just our course on the Udemy platform. However, it is worth noting that Udemy often offers course discounts for subscription learners.
How long is the podcasting course?
In total, the video content of the course is one hour long, with a focus on devoting time to the hands-on practice of setting up your podcast. The course is broken up into just 10 learning modules, no more than eight minutes long each. There is also an optional free preview introduction module and a post-course feedback module that you can watch if you choose.
Is the course accessible to the hearing impaired?
Yes. We’ve manually added English (US) captions to every learning module of the podcasting course.
